Grubb chopped the span on the 20 Carve in this design. The Grubb 16 is a loose wing based on the way he rides.
Short Span: Less span means less resistance through the arc of a turn. The tail breaks free faster and the whole setup feels alive underfoot.
Short Fuselage: A compact fuse keeps the foil shorter, making it more reactive to rider input. Less lever, more pivot. It's this combo of the yaw and pitch that gives this wing a loose and reactive feel.
Fast Recovery: Even with a loose feel the 16 remains predictable and pivots back cleanly.
Dialed in behind the boat, on eFoil, or towing in the ocean. This is Brian's daily driver regardless of discipline.

The Grubb 16 is Brian's personal stabilizer, a shorter span than the 20 Carve, paired with a short fuse for a loose and dialed feel. The tail pivots fast and stays free through the carves and still recovers clean. Brian's been running it behind the boat, on eFoils, and towing in the ocean. Pair with the Grubb 150 for his full setup.
