FOR RIDERS WHO DEMAND MORE
This collection includes our smallest, most reactive boards, starting at 42L with the 4'3 LIFTX and including the 4'7 Florence LIFTX, for riders whose stance and body position hold the foil without extra float. Every board is built on the Lift Connect System, so the same board keeps up as you change wings or propulsion.
What riders are saying
-
“I've always had good experiences at Lift. I ride my Lift X probably 5 days per week. The new LCS makes getting on the water a breeze. I am literally able to set up and be ready to ride within about 1 minute.”

“So far I’ve been very happy with Lift. I’ve been able to get answers to questions, and even talked directly with someone regarding the different eFoils. I just purchased the Laird model after having the Lift5 Cruiser to start. Great product!”

“I have 7 eFoil boards and if you need help it’s immediately given. With so many copycats out there I’m happy to stick to Lift. They’re pioneers in the industry and if you really want the best ride and quality don’t look further.”

WHAT MAKES AN ADVANCED
eFOIL DIFFERENT
Lower Swing Weight, Smaller Board
Your stance and body position hold the foil now, so the board needs less float. Stock boards run 42L to 55L: the 4'4 LIFT5 Pro, 4'8 and 4'3 LIFTX, and 4'7 Florence LIFTX. The 4'9 LIFT5 Sport suits some riders, though many find it too big.
More Speed, Low-Mount Motor
You can build and carry speed without leaning on power. The LIFTX ships with a low-mount 55mm motor and folding propeller, which suits whitewater, where the power offsets the added drag. The 4'4 LIFT5 Pro ships with the 68mm Jet and Gen5 battery.
Stability Locked, Smaller Wings
You no longer need stability from the wing. The 4'8 and 4'3 LIFTX ship with the 150 Havoc front wing and a Flow back wing, against the 200 Havoc on the intermediate LIFTX boards.

FAQ
Who are advanced eFoils for?
Riders whose stance and body position hold the foil, so the board needs less float. Stock boards run 42L to 55L: the 4'4 LIFT5 Pro, the 4'8 and 4'3 LIFTX, and the 4'7 Florence LIFTX. The 4'9 LIFT5 Sport also suits some riders who want a bit more volume.
How are advanced eFoils different from intermediate ones?
The boards get smaller, 42L to 55L versus 52L to 70L. You can build and carry speed without leaning on power, so the LIFTX ships with a low-mount 55mm motor and folding propeller. You also no longer need stability from the wing, so the 4'8 and 4'3 LIFTX ship with the 150 Havoc front wing and a Flow back wing, against the 200 Havoc on the intermediate LIFTX boards.
What are the pro-signature builds?
The Florence 4'7 LIFTX was shaped in collaboration with John John Florence for a compact, surf-tuned ride, and the Laird 5'2 LIFT5 was shaped with Laird Hamilton for a stable platform in mixed conditions and bigger riders.
What size or weight rider is this collection built for?
For the 42L to 55L boards, maximum rider weight runs from 175 lbs on the 4'3 LIFTX to 190 lbs on the 4'4 LIFT5 Pro. Lighter riders find LIFTX easier than heavier riders (185 lbs and up), mainly due to buoyancy and stability. Use the eFoil Match quiz to confirm fit.
Should I demo a board before buying at this level?
Strongly recommended, especially before committing to one of the smaller, more reactive sizes. Find a demo location to feel the difference before you commit.
Can I upgrade my advanced efoil later, or is this already the top of the range?
Yes. The LIFT5 and LIFTX run on the Lift Connect System, so you can change wings and propulsion to suit how you want to ride. It’s about dialing in your setup, not buying a new board.
How do the pro-signature boards compare to the standard lineup?
They're built on the same LCS platform as every other Lift board, the difference is in the shaping and tuning: the Florence and Laird builds reflect the specific riding style of the athlete they're shaped with, rather than a general-purpose setup.
