LIFTX ships with the 32" LCS Carbon 55 Low Mount and LCS Folding Glide Propeller, a 1.0kWh battery, and full LCS integration, materially lighter than either LIFT5 or LIFT5 F.
Powered foiling means the motor assists your ride rather than fully driving it, more power than assist, and it surfs. LIFTX is built around this feel specifically, closer to surf-assist than a traditional throttle-controlled eFoil.
LIFTX runs a 1.0kWh battery with a 55mm propulsion system, smaller and lighter than the LIFT5's 68mm setup. A lighter 0.5kWh battery is also available for riders who want an even lighter setup.
LIFTX is built for surf, swell, and downwind riding, conditions where a lighter board and surf-assisted power delivery matter more than straight-line speed, but it's still a full eFoil when those conditions aren't there. If you're looking for an experience that pushes your foiling further, LIFTX is the system for you.
LIFT5 is the flagship eFoil, built for the full range of performance from cruising to long sessions, if you want an eFoil that covers everything, LIFT5 is it. LIFTX is built for riders looking for more of a foiling experience. It's still a full eFoil and can cover that same range, but it excels when there's swell, ground or wind, or wake to work with. LIFTX can still cruise in flat, glassy water, but without some conditions to play with, you won't get the same session length, it's built to session, not just cruise. Yes, LIFTX is fully LCS, so wings, propulsion, mast, and battery can all be swapped without replacing the board.
LCS (Lift Connect System) is the modular platform connecting your eBox to your propulsion unit and battery, so those components can be swapped as you upgrade or change your setup, on the LIFT5, for example, you can swap propulsion units right at the eBox when you're ready for more height. On LIFT5 and LIFTX, wings are part of that same LCS system too. The one exception is the LIFT5 F, where wings are bolt-on rather than LCS quick-connect, though bolt-on wings still work across both the LIFT5 and LIFTX propulsion units.
