Which eFoil Should I Buy?
We’ve been building boards and foils for 16 years. Eight years ago we built the first commercial eFoil. And the question we’ve been trying to answer is the same one you’re probably asking right now: Which eFoil should I buy?
I’ll be honest, for a long time, the answer was more complicated than it should have been. Getting into eFoiling meant making a compromise. Buy something with more volume like a 100L board — great for getting started, but you outgrow it quickly. Or buy something smaller and put in the work to get on foil. We’re a brand that believes in you as a rider, so we always made that compromise for you, building smaller boards than other brands.
But we want you to be confident on foil, and falling isn’t always the best feeling. So we went back to work. And in the last two years we’ve come out with two innovations that changed that.
In 2024 we introduced the industry’s first inflatable add-on with the Blowfish. Blowfish gives beginners the volume they need without having to buy one of those huge 100L boards. And as a bonus it turns your eFoil into a flying dinghy — perfect for docks, yachts, families, or sharing your eFoil with new riders.
Then in 2025 we introduced Lift Connect System to our eFoil lineup, completely changing how you can upgrade your ride. LCS makes every board in our lineup fully modular. Battery, mast, wings, propulsion all interchangeable. It means wherever you start, you’re not buying a ceiling. You’re building a setup that grows with you.
By riders, for riders fuels our design.
That’s what this break down is for. A walk through to help you find the right eFoil for you. Three platforms, one system, and a clear path from your first session to wherever you want to take this.

LIFT5 F | The Smartest Way In
The LIFT5 F brings the full LIFT5 platform, same Gen5 battery and the same board shape equipped LCS architecture for a propulsion to board quick connect, at the most accessible price point in the lineup. A proprietary Fiberglass construction absorbs impact in a way carbon wasn’t designed to. Touchdowns are more forgiving and everyday dings don’t stop your session. The aluminum mast is sized perfectly for newer riders and delivers a predictable stable flight from day one.
This is the setup built specifically for what early sessions demand: durability, forgiveness, and a foil that provides stable consistent lift.
LIFT5 F is built with LCS allowing you to not only upgrade but keep the original components so you can build a second eFoil as you progress. This means you can keep your LIFT5 F board but upgrade to the 32” LCS Carbon Fiber Propulsion for more clearance and the ability to use LCS wings. A lighter battery or a smaller board. The LIFT5 F isn’t a starter board you will replace, it’s the entry point into a setup you’ll build over time.
Pair it with a Blowfish from day one and you have more stability and volume without locking yourself into a board you’ll outgrow. Remove it when you don’t need it anymore and keep it for family days or teaching your friends.
The LIFT5 F comes in our 2 most popular sizes:
4’9 Sport – 67L – The versatile choice. Agile enough to last as you progress and stable enough to start, especially with a Blowfish. This is the board for riders who wants a board they can grow into.

|---|---|---|
| Max Rider Weight | 220 lbs / 100 kg | 260 lbs / 118 kg |

LIFT5 | The Flagship
This is the eFoil that defined the category. Smooth, quiet, powerful, and the fastest eFoil setup on the market. Attach the propulsion, secure the wings, drop in the battery, and go.
The board is shaped to improve take-offs and touch downs with super clean water release it is the ride that will disappear beneath you. The propulsion has an integrated nose cone that cuts drag. And a direct drive motor with Quiet Ride Technology so there is no whine from a gearbox, just flow.
90 minutes of full throttle ride time. One-button start. Wireless and toolless setup. Lift eFoils are the fastest assembly of any eFoil on the market.
Like the LIFT5 F you can add Blowfish to any LIFT5 making it an entirely different setup. Higher volume, more stability, and a do-it-all water toy that works for families, students, and dock days. Remove it and you have the high performance eFoil you wanted.

LIFTX | Powered Foiling. Not Just an eFoil
Most people call the LIFTX an eFoil. It’s more accurate to call it powered foiling, a surf foil with an electric assist that gets out of the way the moment you don’t need it.
LIFTX has the reliable performance and power of an eFoil but the agility closer to a foil. Fun on flat water. Tuned to catch every wake and set without having to pump, wing, tow, or paddle. It makes any area with energy and endless surf park.
The LCS 55 low mount propulsion with the folding prop gives you all the power you need for any session, and when off power the prop feathers back and you are foiling. For even less drag, configure LIFTX with the high-mount or the 2026 ultra high-mount propulsion.
This is the setup for riders who are already comfortable on foil and looking to keep progressing. It powers you to where the energy is. With 45 minutes of full throttle power, the battery will outlast your session — thanks to the hybrid nature of the ride.
4’3 | 42L — This is my go to ride, a fighter jet on the water. Maximum responsiveness. Snappy, reactive, and aggressive. For experienced riders who want the lightest and smallest board.
Recommended Max Rider Weight | 175 lbs/79 kg
4’8 | 52L — The crossover. Our most popular size, still built for intermediate to advanced riders. The 4’8 is still super responsive, surfy, and agile.
Recommended Max Rider Weight | 185 lbs/84 kg
5’2 | 64L — Don’t let the size fool you this is still a performance machine but for our heavier riders. You get all of the feeling of the LIFTX in a package that provides a bit more platform.
Recommended Max Rider Weight | 200 lbs/91 kg
5'4 | 70L — The most platform in the lineup. Built for bigger riders and anyone who wants more board under them from the start. More volume in the nose gives you a smooth, gradual takeoff and a stable platform underfoot without holding back the ride. Same LIFTX performance, sized for riders who need it.
Recommended Max Rider Weight | 220 lbs/100 kg
