This Limited Warranty applies to Lift Foils products purchased from Lift Foils or its authorized retailers or resellers for personal recreational use.

 

The purchaser or user of the Lift Foils product (the “Product”) shall be referred to as “you” in this Limited Warranty.

 

By using the Product, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Limited Warranty.

Lift Foils authorized retailers or resellers are not authorized to modify this warranty or make additional warranties binding on Lift Foils.

 

This Limited Warranty provides protection against defects in materials and workmanship only. It is a product warranty and not insurance.

 

What Does My Warranty Cover?

 

Lift Foils warrants that the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use, in accordance with Lift Foils’ published materials.

 

Lift Foils’ published materials include, but are not limited to:

• User manuals
• Safety instructions
• Product specifications
•  Maintenance guidelines
• Service communications

How Long Does My Warranty Coverage Period Last?

 

The warranty period begins on the date of original retail purchase.

 

Lift Foils provides a one (1) year limited warranty covering all Lift Foils manufactured components, including both mechanical and electrical systems.

 

Covered components include:

•  Boards (shells and structural laminates)
•  Foils, wings, masts, and fuselages
•  Mechanical hardware
• Batteries
• Motors
• eBoxes
• Chargers
• Controllers
• Wiring, connectors, and electronic systems

Repair or replacement does not extend or restart the original warranty period

Commercial Use

 

This Limited Warranty is intended for personal recreational use only.

 

If the Product is used for commercial purposes—including but not limited to rental fleets, demos, instructional programs, guided tours, or any use involving compensation or repeated high-duty cycles—warranty coverage is limited to ninety (90) days from the date of purchase, and applies only to defects in materials and workmanship.

 

Any commercial use beyond this period is not covered under this Limited Warranty.

How Do I Get Warranty Service?

 

If your Product does not function as warranted during the warranty period, contact Lift Foils at:

help@liftfoils.com

 

You must provide valid proof of purchase, including your receipt or order number and Product serial number.

 

Lift Foils may request photographs, video, or diagnostic data to evaluate your claim.

What Service Will Lift Foils Provide?

 

Lift Foils will first attempt to diagnose and resolve issues through remote support, including email or software-based troubleshooting where applicable.

 

If a defect in materials or workmanship is confirmed, Lift Foils will, at its sole discretion:

• Repair the Product or defective component, or
• Replace the Product or component with the same or a comparable component of equal or greater value, or
• Provide an alternative remedy consistent with applicable consumer protection laws

Repair or replacement is the primary and exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty.

 

What Is Not Covered by My Warranty?

 

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

• Normal wear and tear
• Water intrusion, corrosion, or moisture exposure
• Battery capacity degradation due to age, use, or charge cycles
• Crashes, impacts, grounding, or collisions
• Improper assembly, installation, sealing, charging, storage, or transport
• Cosmetic damage (scratches, chips, fading, discoloration)
• Use outside Lift Foils documentation or operating limits
•  Use with non-Lift Foils components or accessories
• Unauthorized modifications or repair.
• Neglect, misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance

 

If Lift Foils determines that the issue is not due to a defect in materials or workmanship, the claim will be denied.

Battery Use and Maintenance

 

Battery packs are consumable components. While covered for manufacturing defects during the warranty period, they are not warranted to maintain any specific capacity, runtime, or performance level.

 

To remain eligible for warranty coverage, customers must follow battery care and maintenance guidelines provided in Lift Foils documentation. This includes, at minimum, charging the battery at least once every three (3) months, even when not in use.

 

Customers are responsible for ensuring their battery firmware is kept up to date through the Lift Foils app, and failure to install available firmware updates may result in performance issues or denial of warranty coverage.

 

Failure to follow required battery maintenance guidelines may result in denial of warranty coverage for battery-related claims.

Shipping and Warranty Claims

 

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with warranty claims, including both inbound and outbound shipping.

 

Lift Foils will provide shipping labels through its designated carrier, and all associated shipping charges will be billed to the customer.

 

Any applicable customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or related fees are the responsibility of the customer.

 

Dealers, resellers, and affiliates are not authorized to approve warranty claims on behalf of Lift Foils.

Third-Party Component

 

Any component or accessory not manufactured by Lift Foils, even if sold with or installed on the Product, is not covered under this Limited Warranty and may be subject to separate warranties from their respective manufacturers.

Limitation of Liability

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lift Foils shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including:

• Loss of use
• Loss of time
• Loss of income

Lift Foils’ total liability under this Limited Warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the Product or affected component.

 

Some states do not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Additional Terms

 

This Limited Warranty shall be governed by the laws of the state in which the Product was purchased.

 

If any provision of this warranty is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Additional Legal Rights

 

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

 

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so this limitation may not apply to you.

 

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

By placing a pre-order or backorder, you agree that orders will be fulfilled first come first serve at the discretion of Lift Foils. Cancellations are subject to a 3% processing fee of the total order value.
