Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty applies to LIFT Foils USA, Inc. products purchased from LIFT Foils USA, Inc. or its authorized retailers or resellers for personal, commercial, or instructional use.

The purchaser or user of the LIFT Foils USA, Inc. product (the “Product”) shall be referred to as “you” in this Limited Warranty.

By using the Product, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Limited Warranty. LIFT Foils USA, Inc. authorized retailers or resellers are not authorized to modify this warranty or make additional warranties binding on LIFT Foils USA, Inc.

This Limited Warranty provides protection against defects in materials and workmanship only. It is a product warranty and not insurance.

What Does My Warranty Cover?

LIFT Foils USA, Inc. warrants that the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use, in accordance with LIFT Foils USA, Inc.’s published materials.

LIFT Foils USA, Inc.’s published materials include, but are not limited to:

  • User manuals
  • Safety instructions
  • Product specifications
  • Maintenance guidelines
  • Service communications

How Long Does My Warranty Coverage Period Last?

The warranty period begins on the date of original retail purchase.

LIFT Foils USA, Inc. provides a one (1) year limited warranty covering all LIFT Foils USA, Inc. manufactured components, including both mechanical and electrical systems.

Covered components include:

  • Boards (shells and structural laminates)
  • Foils, wings, masts, and fuselages
  • Mechanical hardware
  • Batteries
  • Motors
  • eBoxes
  • Chargers
  • Controllers
  • Wiring, connectors, and electronic systems

Repair or replacement does not extend or restart the original warranty period.

Non-Transferability

This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the Product and is non-transferable. It does not extend to any subsequent owner or user of the Product, whether through resale, gift, or any other transfer. Proof of original purchase from an authorized LIFT Foils USA, Inc. retailer or reseller is required to obtain warranty coverage.

Commercial Use

This Limited Warranty covers the Product for personal, commercial, and instructional use alike.

Products used for commercial purposes are eligible for the same one (1) year limited warranty described above, and are subject to the same terms, exclusions, and claims process as any other Product.

As described under Non-Transferability above, this Limited Warranty remains non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser, regardless of whether the Product is used for personal or commercial purposes.

How Do I Get Warranty Service?

If your Product does not function as warranted during the warranty period, submit a case at support.liftfoils.com/cases/new.

You must provide valid proof of purchase, including your receipt or order number and Product serial number. LIFT Foils USA, Inc. may request photographs, video, or diagnostic data to evaluate your claim.

What Service Will LIFT Foils USA, Inc. Provide?

LIFT Foils USA, Inc. will first attempt to diagnose and resolve issues through remote support, including email or software-based troubleshooting where applicable.

If a defect in materials or workmanship is confirmed, LIFT Foils USA, Inc. will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the Product or defective component, or
  • Replace the Product or component with the same or a comparable component of equal or greater value, or
  • Provide an alternative remedy consistent with applicable consumer protection laws

Repair or replacement is the primary and exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty.

What Is Not Covered by My Warranty?

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Water intrusion, corrosion, or moisture exposure
  • Battery capacity degradation due to age, use, or charge cycles
  • Crashes, impacts, grounding, or collisions
  • Improper assembly, installation, sealing, charging, storage, or transport
  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, chips, fading, discoloration)
  • Use outside LIFT Foils USA, Inc. documentation or operating limits
  • Use with non-LIFT Foils USA, Inc. components or accessories
  • Unauthorized modifications or repair
  • Neglect, misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance

If LIFT Foils USA, Inc. determines that the issue is not due to a defect in materials or workmanship, the claim will be denied.

Battery Use and Maintenance

Battery packs are consumable components. While covered for manufacturing defects during the warranty period, they are not warranted to maintain any specific capacity, runtime, or performance level.

To remain eligible for warranty coverage, customers must follow the battery care and maintenance guidelines provided in LIFT Foils USA, Inc. documentation. This includes, at minimum, charging the battery at least once every three (3) months, even when not in use.

Customers are responsible for keeping their battery firmware up to date through the LIFT Foils USA, Inc. app. Failure to install available firmware updates may result in performance issues or denial of warranty coverage.

Failure to follow required battery maintenance guidelines may result in denial of warranty coverage for battery-related claims.

Shipping and Warranty Claims

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with warranty claims, including both inbound and outbound shipping. LIFT Foils USA, Inc. will provide shipping labels through its designated carrier, and all associated shipping charges will be billed to the customer.

Any applicable customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or related fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Dealers, resellers, and affiliates are not authorized to approve warranty claims on behalf of LIFT Foils USA, Inc.

Third-Party Components

Any component or accessory not manufactured by LIFT Foils USA, Inc., even if sold with or installed on the Product, is not covered under this Limited Warranty and may be subject to separate warranties from its manufacturer.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LIFT Foils USA, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including:

  • Loss of use
  • Loss of time
  • Loss of income

LIFT Foils USA, Inc.’s total liability under this Limited Warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the Product or affected component.

Some states do not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Additional Terms

This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, except where the law of your state or territory requires otherwise.

If any provision of this warranty is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Additional Legal Rights

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so this limitation may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Puerto Rico residents also retain their rights under the Puerto Rico Civil Code regarding hidden defects (vicios ocultos).

Pre-Sale and Backorder Terms

By placing a pre-order or backorder, you agree that orders will be fulfilled first come, first served at the discretion of LIFT Foils USA, Inc. Customer-requested cancellations are subject to a 3% processing fee of the total order value. This fee is waived if we cannot ship your order by its estimated date. Delivery updates will be sent to your registered email address. Placing a pre-order constitutes acceptance of these terms.
