We built LIFTX. Our team made it a race board.
The Surf Foil World Tour returned to Lake Garda for another weekend of racing. Alex Tête, Piet Varkevisser, Antti Koskinen, Vlad Mironovs, Sofia Wittmann, Kai Katchadourian, and Carmine Staiano all lined up on the LIFTX. Manel Arpa took the overall PRO win on his Florence 4'7, moving one step closer to the 2026 World Championship.
Manel and Alex Put on a Show
Manel Arpa led through the elimination rounds and closed it out with another Surf Foil World Tour win. Alex Tête was fast from the first heat and pushed him all the way to the finish, another one-two for the Lift Racing Team.
Sofia Keeps Climbing
Sofia Wittmann took second in the Women's division on her LIFTX 4'8, her second Surf Foil World Tour event. Second podium, second event.
Podiums Across the Fleet
Vlad Mironovs took third in Challenger. Piet Varkevisser and Kai Katchadourian both podiumed in Masters. Edan Finder took second in Pump Foil.
A Weekend to Learn for Carmine
Not every race weekend goes to plan. A slow qualifying session put Carmine Staiano at the back of the field, and the deficit was too much to make up through the elimination rounds despite solid race pace. The lessons carry into the next round.
