A quick guide on some of the best places to efoil in Thailand, with an introduction to Lift Foils.
eFoils are only as good as the material used to craft them. And when it comes to offering quality hydrofoils, we don’t cut corners. Each eFoil comes with a marbled carbon fiber frame that hits that perfect sweet spot between lightweight and durable design.
The material is the lightest in the entire market, as the only other manufacturers to use these materials are racecar manufacturers! It also helps that these materials also make our efoils look very good.
You can easily customize major parts of your eFoil and choose from various other options. You can choose from different options of masts and fins for the bottom. Your choices will greatly impact your overall riding experience.
The efoils we make come with a Bluetooth remote, which you can use to control the efoil’s speed. The motor at the bottom is silent and fast, ensuring that you are riding as fast as you want. With this motor, you can easily propel yourself without needing wind or waves to move. Of course, you can even use these efoils as a surfboard, but it is hard enough to ride one without adding waves to the equation.
Lift Foils began selling its unique efoils in 2010, out of a small shop in Puerto Rico. And since its inception, the team has been focusing on creating the ultimate efoil. The co-founder for the Lift Foils came up with the idea and took a lot of his inspiration from smartphones and different electronics. He wanted essentially wanted to make a surfboard that didn’t need waves or wind to glide over the water.
Nick Leason, using his expertise as an engineer and avid surfer, created the first iteration of the eFoil. He was a perfectionist through and through, a work ethic the company still lives by. We make a quality product regardless of how long it takes us. Over time, we have also come much closer to the perfect efoil that Leason envisioned. And what started as a small shop in Puerto Rico now has multiple demo locations worldwide.
Bang Tao Beach is a great place for people to efoil in Thailand, as it has plenty of variety of surfers. It has smaller waves towards the center with larger waves to the north if you want a challenge. But this is a tourist hotspot, so you will see plenty of people here.
Kata Noi is another incredible beach that makes for a great place to efoil, thanks to its short waves. It is especially friendly to beginners as surfers prefer other beaches to this one.
If you’re looking to try out a thrilling experience unlike any other, then you can try eFoiling for yourself today. Simply go to your nearest Lift Foil demo location, and you will be able to test an efoil in Thailand.
