Why High Aspect Wings for Downwinding?
High aspect wings for foiling give the rider a more efficient glide and an easier pump. The ride is different, and tailored to slightly more advanced users, as it’s less stable than low or medium aspect wings that are common for surf foiling. High aspect wings are perfect for downwinding. The increased efficiency and glide helps riders connect ocean swells and conserve energy while pumping without sacrificing speed and agility. It all adds up to a longer ride and an incredible foiling experience.
