One of the best feelings for our team throughout the growth of Lift Foils has been watching so many amazing partners begin to represent Lift in their local regions and share the stoke and experience of riding an eFoil with new users. Lift Jamaica embodies Lift Foils perfectly, a friendly team who offer awesome experiences and true expertise to interested riders of all kinds who pass through Jamaica. They also keep up an active, fun and engaging Instagram at @liftfoiljamaica. We asked them a bit about their background and top recommendations for experiencing the eFoil in their area.
Tell us a little bit about you and the Lift Jamaica team!
We are a group of you people have interest from sports, lifestyle, and photography. Culture at the company is really relaxed and everyone enjoys the beach culture. We have an in house videographer and designer and everyone on the team is passionate about e-foiling and watersports.
How did you discover Lift Foils?
I was scrolling through YouTube and having an interest in new technology Lift Foils came up on my feed and I saw the owner of Lift riding down the Miami River which I was familiar with. I immediately wanted to do that. I imagined myself eFoiling. It was the perfect way to enjoy the water without owning a boat.
What’s your efoil size or wing configuration and why?
I use them all however, I enjoy the 5’6″ with a 200 wing.
What excites you about efoiling?
The freedom of riding excited me most – the fact that you are not tethered to the board and you can ride as far as you can see. You can get to inaccessible places.
What regions do you work out of, and what does your company offer demos, lessons, etc?
We work out of the North Coast of Jamaica, but offer mobile service. We offer both demos and lessons.
Tell us about one of your most interesting water or adventure experiences, whether foil related or not!
Foiling on Jamaica‘s Blue Lagoon in Portland one of the best riding experiences I have had. There is nothing else like it. The water is extremely flat and calm.
What are some your go-to efoiling spots in Jamaica?
Some of my favorite spots are:
Martha Brae River
